Biography

Debendra Kumar Lath, joined Lionism in 1976 as a member of Lions Club of Sambalpur and became Secretary of the Club in the year 1981-82 and President in the year 1984-85. He was nominated to District Cabinet as District Chairman, Zone Chairman, Region Chairman and became Vice District Governor in the year 1997-98 and subsequently District Governor in the 1998-99 and then as Multiple Cabinet Secretary in the year 1999-2000. As District Governor, he has also generated a lot of enthusiasm with the Lions Movement which helped in no small way to galvanize Clubs in the District into action.

Lion DK Lath equally involved in other social organisation such Sivananda Homeopathic Institution, Executive Director of K.D. Jalan Seva Sadan, Member of Devine Life Society and Red Cross and many other voluntary organisations, where his services has been recognised Lion DK Lath is happily married to Lion Lady Asha and is blessed with one son and two daughter.
